    I have been a cylinder mower builder since 2011

    Cylinder mowers are my destiny. My name is Tomáš Šena, and I’ve dedicated virtually my entire professional life to the sale, development, production, and servicing of cylinder mowers for English-style lawns. 

    The brand ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) is the culmination of all my theoretical knowledge from engineering studies and hands-on experience gained throughout my extensive turf care career. A vital part of this journey belongs to our customers, whose interest and feedback have significantly influenced the design and function of our wonderful, quiet machines. And of course, to my skilled and passionate colleagues — without them, none of this would be possible. 

    In 2008, I began importing ATCO cylinder mowers from England, followed by ALLETT. Later, I founded Swardman, broke through globally with that brand, and eventually brought everything together into ELO — a project created truly for my own joy.     Dobrý den, děkujeme za dotaz. ELO 2 je navrženo přsně tak, aby bylo vhodné pro trávníky od 200 m2. Jedná se o nejštíhlejší sekačku. Vždy jsme si hlídali při vývoji "tuk" sekačky, to znamená, nefunkční šíře stroje. Díky unikátní konstrukci jsme se dostali na hodnoty, které půjde těžko překonat. To jak poodlnené je se sekačkou posekat malý trávník záleží na více faktorech, šířka stroje, délka stroje s košem, citlivost spojky pojezdu, těžiště stroje... Tak snad to bude řešení i pro Vás.     Dobrý den, děkujeme za doporučení pro zákazníky. Určitě se může někomu hodit. Obecně není tolik případů, kdy zákazníci mají betonové okraje tak vysoké, že dřou o koš. Ale i tak jsme se rozhodli, že během zimy nabídneme volitelnou položku, ochrana hran koše, kterou půjde dodatečně domontovat na koš. Tím by se dala situace jako ta Vaše vyřešit. Hezký den :-)

    Naprostá spokojenost, jen bych doporučovat na přední hraně koše ochránit látku nějakou podložkou umístěnou pod šroubek. Při sečení podél stěny se člověk nevyhne občasnému kontaktu se stěnou a pak se látka odře a je nutno ji opravovat.

    Sekačku jsem uvedl do provozu: 4/2025 Sekám s ní plochu: cca 130 m2. Sekám 2-3 x týdně, obvykle na výšku 18 mm. Výhody sekačky: Tichá, kvalitní střih, lehká. Nevýhody sekačky: Indikace stavu baterie. Vůle v madle na držení.
