About us

The founder of the e-shop is an ordinary lawn care specialist, Tomáš ŠENA.

He began his career in the field of cylinder mowers back in 2002 when he successfully defended his thesis on the topic of *Analysis of Machines for Golf Course Maintenance*. His degree in Trade and Business with Technology has since become the foundation of his professional life.  

Thanks to his understanding of the exceptional qualities of cylinder mowers in lawn quality, he founded his first e-shop in 2007 to sell ATCO cylinder mowers, which he began importing from England in 2008 and distributing successfully across Central Europe.

After ATCO ceased production in 2010, Tomáš turned to selling the Allett brand and later began developing his own line of cylinder mowers. In 2013, he founded the company Swardman, and in 2015, he launched serial production of the Swardman Edwin mower, marking the beginning of the brand’s expansion across the globe — from Mexico, the USA, and Hawaii to Australia, France, Germany, the UK, and Switzerland.  

In 2019, he and his business partner sold Swardman to a new owner. Shortly after, Tomáš launched ŠENA shop, and in 2020, he launched this e-shop, Centre for Cylinder Mowers, with the goal of bringing all brands together in one place and making it easier for customers to choose.

That same year, Tomáš and his colleagues began developing a new battery-powered cylinder mower named ELO, which was delivered to its first customers in 2022. 

Since 2008, a key part of Tomáš's strategy has been to provide premium service for cylinder mowers — including cylinder sharpening, winter preventative service with convenient nationwide pickup, and fast delivery of spare parts and express grinding. 

Most cylinder mowers are on display in our showroom in Prague, with selected models also available at our branch in Ostrava. The complete offering includes over 18 brands across all categories.
