First users of ELO: mistakes, progress, and honest feedback

Although we only recently launched our new online store elo.green, we reached out to the first owners of ELO cylinder mowers, who have been using them since 2022. We asked them to share their experiences – not only with the mower itself, but also with the things that are often even more important: reliability, servicing, communication, warranty repairs, or even reel sharpening.

We received very honest feedback that helps us keep growing. We don’t hide the fact that not everything was perfect from the very beginning. Developing and manufacturing a brand-new machine from scratch is always a process full of trials and errors. But thanks to these “pioneers,” we were able to take our products and services to the next level. We fixed mistakes, fine-tuned details, improved production precision, and enhanced communication. As a result, today’s models are significantly more reliable, accurate, and easier to maintain than the very first series.

This approach – to listen, to innovate, to embrace mistakes and learn from them quickly – is the philosophy I adopted back when I was developing Swardman mowers. And it’s the same philosophy that drives all honest startups.
