In 2025, we are introducing an improved control unit that allows ELO 1 mowers to control engine power more efficiently and flexibly. The new features focus on optimizing performance and protecting the machine by allowing you to switch between two operating modes: POWER and ECO.
Operating modes
The control unit offers two main operating options that allow the engine power to be adjusted to the current mowing conditions:
POWER
POWER mode is the default mode, which is automatically activated each time the engine is started. This mode sets the engine power to maximum, which is ideal for dense or tall grass where full power is required.

Overload monitoring: The unit constantly monitors the current consumption and, if it is exceeded, evaluates the condition as an overload. In this case, the engine stops immediately and the red LED starts flashing.

Resuming operation: To resume operation, wait for the unit to shut down automatically or restart it using the Main Switch. After switching to position 0, wait 5 seconds and then switch to position 1 to reactivate the mode.
ECO
ECO mode is designed to optimize energy consumption. This mode works similarly to POWER mode, but with intelligent power management. Motor power is reduced to save energy, while the unit continues to monitor the current drawn by the motor.

Automatic switching: If the current exceeds the set threshold, the motor automatically switches to full power. Once the current drops below this threshold and the operating time at maximum power does not exceed 7 seconds, the unit returns to reduced power, saving battery life.
Switching between POWER and ECO modes
You can easily switch between these two modes using the MODE button on the handlebars:

When the motor is started, POWER mode is automatically activated.

Press the MODE button to switch to ECO mode.

Press the button again to switch back to POWER mode.
This cycle repeats each time the button is pressed, allowing you to quickly adjust the power to suit your current needs.
This new feature is a smart power management system that gives users the choice between maximum power for demanding conditions and an energy-saving mode for less demanding mowing. It also protects the motor from overload and optimizes battery life. The ELO 1 is now even more powerful and adaptable, making it easier to use every day and delivering better results for any mowing job.
