In September 2022, we reached an important milestone in our story – we delivered the first customers with the lightweight ELO 1 battery-powered reel mowers in 35 and 45 cm widths. This paved the way for precise lawn mowing even for novice lawn care professionals and owners of smaller gardens who are looking for a high-quality, quiet and gentle alternative to classic rotary mowers.
The ELO 1 35 and ELO 1 45 models were designed from the start with an emphasis on ease of use, low weight and easy handling. They are the ideal choice for areas up to 300 m², such as front gardens, city yards or small ornamental lawns. At the same time, they are an excellent entry-level model for anyone who wants to learn about the advantages of reel mowing – a naturally clean cut without fraying that heals and thickens the lawn.
The battery drive makes work much easier – there is no need to manually push the reel, which was often an obstacle for less physically fit users with classic mechanical models. Thanks to their compact design, simple operation and acceptable performance, these models are the ideal choice for anyone who wants to start taking care of their lawn with an emphasis on quality, but without complex technology.
With the deliveries of the first units in 2022, we not only received valuable feedback, but also confirmed that there is a strong demand for small, light and quiet reel mowers with a battery drive. And it was thanks to these first customers that the ELO series could begin to write its success story.
